Grudnik, one of Poland’s leading distributors of sanitary, plumbing, and heating products, has consolidated its central warehouse operations and relocated to the modern Distribution Park Łódź City facility. As part of the transaction, the company leased 6,700 sq m of warehouse space. The tenant was represented throughout the advisory process by the international real estate consultancy Knight Frank.

The new location will serve as a strategic distribution hub covering north-western and central Poland. The relocation and centralisation of logistics operations form part of Grudnik’s new distribution strategy, aimed at increasing operational efficiency and improving product availability. These changes will result in shorter order fulfilment times and an even higher level of customer service.

Grudnik is a direct distributor of more than 300 of Europe’s largest manufacturers, offering a portfolio of over 100,000 products. The company is fully Polish-owned and operates an extensive organisational structure comprising its headquarters in Kraków, nine regional branches and a network of several dozen self-service installation wholesalers under the Monter Shop brand. This well-developed infrastructure enables a fast response to customer needs across the country, both in terms of product advisory services and logistics support.

“The relocation to Distribution Park Łódź City marks the beginning of the next stage of our development. We believe that the implemented distribution strategy will allow us to respond even more effectively to customer needs and achieve our business objectives,” comments Paweł Szczurek, CEO at Grudnik.

Distribution Park Łódź City is a modern Class A warehouse facility located in the eastern part of Łódź, just 4 km from the city centre. The park offers convenient access to public transport and key transport routes, including the A1 and A2 motorways, connecting Poland’s major economic centres with the rest of Europe. The property is managed by Hines, a leading global real assets investor.

The decision to select Łódź as the location for the strategic warehouse reflects the growing importance of the region as one of Poland’s key logistics hubs, offering excellent infrastructure and a central location.

“We are pleased to have supported Grudnik in the process of relocating and optimising its logistics operations. This transaction is an example of a well-considered growth strategy in which real estate plays a significant role in building competitive advantage,” adds Karolina Gałązka, Senior Negotiator in the Industrial & Logistics Leasing Department at Knight Frank.
