Krzyki is one of five districts of Wroclaw, which is located in the south of the city. It belongs to the most dynamically developing districts of the capital of Lower Silesia. In recent years, this area has undergone a large metamorphosis. New housing investments, which are the most in Wroclaw, are already interwoven with existing ones, creating a coherent architecture. Interesting connections can be seen mainly when comparing post-German historical buildings with modern housing projects. It is this variety that just gives a specific character to Krzyki, which are at the forefront of the most popular districts of Wroclaw.

In the district there is the headquarters of the University of Economics and the Medical University of Piastowie Ślascy, which attracts students of these universities. The immediate vicinity of the city center means that the district is willingly chosen by young people and families with children who appreciate the comfort of quick access to and from work. The opportunity to relax in the Park Poludniowy (South Park), numerous squares and recreational areas is an additional advantage appreciated by the residents of Krzyki. Well-developed road infrastructure and public transport allow efficient and fast access to Srodmiescie and other districts. Krzyki has one of the best developed tram lines in Wroclaw. It is in this part of Wroclaw that the Wroclaw Głowny railway station is located.

 

A distinctive building that distinguishes Krzyki is the skyscraper Sky Tower, which was opened in 2012, which is also visible from other districts. One of the tallest buildings in Poland combines a residential, construction and service and commercial function. Same Krzyki does not dominate in terms of office resources.
