Wawer is the largest district in Warsaw, covering an area of 79.7 km2. Wawer is located on the right bank
of the Vistula River and is also bordered by Praga Poludnie, Rembertow, Wesola, the Wiazowna
commune and the city of Jozefow. Thanks to the railway, bus and tram lines, Wawer allows convenient
passage to the center of Warsaw, however, due to the fact that it is a vast district, access is not always
fast. There are a few office buildings on Wawer. New projects are about to be created soon, but their
number is not comparable with projects being implemented in other districts. Nevertheless, the planned
projects will benefit residents of the district as new jobs will be created. Wawer was mainly developed by
residential buildings and attracts people who want to buy a property, which makes the district more
intimate.
